Kniphofia Christmas Cheer blooms as the name suggests unless frost burns off the flowers. After a wintry rest ours start blooming again in May and repeating periodically through the Summer. Kniphofia Christmas Cheer has rich green grasslike foliage. Ours have withstood Winter temperatures in the low teens, and should be able to take temperatures down to 0° F, though flowers and foliage will be damaged if temps drop much below the upper 20's. Kniphofia Christmas Cheer foliage grows to 36 inches and has flower stalks to nearly 4 feet. The hummingbirds battle for the rights to these flowers, this is a great addition to the Hummingbird Garden
